About Portal Ready

Who publishes Portal Ready, what it covers, how it is funded, and what it will never do: invent numbers, results or reviews.

Published

Portal Ready is a reference for developers who want to publish HTML5 games on web portals such as CrazyGames, Poki, GameDistribution, GameMonetize, Y8, itch.io and YouTube Playables, or monetize games on their own site with Google’s H5 Games Ads, which is by application and only serves on a site approved in AdSense (details). It collects the requirements each portal publishes, explains how their SDKs are integrated, and provides a browser-only Portal Readiness Checker for zipped web builds.

Who runs it

Portal Ready is published by Portal Ready, based in United States. You can reach the publisher at contact@portalready.world or through the contact page.

There is no editorial team behind the site and no invented author personas. Pages are drafted with AI assistance and checked against primary sources before publication; the methodology page describes that process in detail, including what “checked” means and what it does not.

What you will find here

  • Portal pages and a comparison table. Every value (revenue share, exclusivity, SDK requirements, size limits, review process, payout threshold, AI-content policy) links to the official page it came from, with the date it was last verified. Where a portal does not publish something, the page says “not published” instead of guessing.
  • SDK guides with small examples in vanilla JavaScript and Phaser 3. The example code lives in the site’s repository and is bundled with esbuild as part of the build checks.
  • Build and performance guides on engine exports, size budgets, mobile input, audio unlock and saving progress.
  • Tools that run entirely in your browser. Files you check are never uploaded.

What you will not find here

  • Revenue, traffic or playtime figures that we did not measure ourselves. The build-logs section stays hidden until there are real experiments to report, and each log must point to evidence.
  • Reviews or testimonials. The site does not publish ratings of portals.
  • Paid placements. No portal or SDK vendor has paid for coverage. If that ever changes, the affected page will say so at the top.

How the site is funded

The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. The site places no ad units inside the checker tool. See the privacy policy for what that means for cookies and consent.

Independence

Portal Ready is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any portal, engine, SDK or ad network named on the site. Product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
